"Wind
of Change" is a single by the German rock group Scorpions, released for
their 11-th album, Crazy World (1990). The single was composed by the group's
lead singer Klaus Meine and produced
by Keith Olsen and the band. The track was
recorded as the album's 3-rd song in January 1991 and became a worldwide hit,
just after the failed coup that would eventually lead to the collapse of the
Soviet Communist regime. The single topped the charts in Germany and across
Europe and 4-th in the United States and 2-nd hit in the United Kingdom.
