va pas" (Eng. "Don't Go Away") is a 1986 single released by the
French artist Elsa Lunghini. Recorded as a song on 12 October 1986, this song,
her first song, was the soundtrack of the 1986
movie La Femme de ma vie. It was
a smash hit in France.
The song
had a huge success in France. Music started at number 26 on French Singles Chart
on 6 December 1986 and reached the top 10 the week after. In the 5-th week, it
topped the chart and there stayed for 8 consecutive weeks.
